Portsmouth New Hampshire Web Design Firm Helps Promote Local Art Organization

June 24, 2004 -- CrystalVision, Web Site Design and Internet Services, based in Portsmouth, NH, has donated its design and hosting services to the launch of a new web site for Art Round Town (www.artroundtown.org), a Portsmouth based gallery tour, open to the public the 2nd Friday of every month.

CrystalVision's contribution of an updated web site allows interested individuals to view upcoming art exhibits and a map of the galleries in the tour. It is very important for Art Round Town to have a web site, as it enables us to post current information. Each gallery features changing exhibitions and the web site allows us to let everyone in the community and beyond know the various artists' schedules. The web site will also help to promote the diversity and charm that is downtown Portsmouth and its small businesses," was the comment from Kim Ferreira, Chairperson of Art Around Town and owner of the new Three Graces Gallery (formerly The Pierce Gallery) of Portsmouth.

Art Round Town is a free event where local galleries host open house evenings. It's an opportunity to create excitement for the community by providing intriguing, stimulating destinations for folks to meet on the second Friday evening of each month. Each host gallery will provide refreshments, people can meet the artists, and oftentimes view new show openings. Art Round Town is affiliated with the New Hampshire Art Association.

In addition to the pro-bono work for Art Round Town, CrystalVision donates its services to Big Brother Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast, CEO forum and Adopt-a-Spot.
